Sweardle
Sweardle is an obscene word guessing game inspired by the game Wordle created in 2021 by Josh Wardle. Made in 2022 by an Anonymous creator who wanted to imitate Wordle, the game has steadily grown in popularity. Players are challenged to play a series of four-letter swear words with a daily refresher word puzzle.
Sweardle is played very similarly to Wordle. Each day, a player will visit the site and encounter an empty grid of squares. From there, players will need to guess a word to get started. Unlike Wordle which has five character words and six guesses, Sweardle takes four-letter words with four guesses, making it a bit simpler and easier to understand. Just like with Wordle, yellow brick means that the letter is right where it is wrong, and green brick means the correct letter is in the right place. Only obscene words will be accepted.
